How’s everybody?
I hope healthy kayong lahat mga mamsh and you know… happy. I do hope everyone’s happy. The past few months made me realize how sometimes we take happiness for granted.
Anyway, I am posting this for documentation’s sake lang again. This year’s celebrations are different for us. We didn’t have our usual NYE salubong in our house with my family this year. Instead, we had early dinner with my family at Italianni’s in BGC. May kanya kanya na kasing lakad eh. Toots and Russ wanted to have their first NYE together in their condo. Silang dalawa lang + their cochinillo. Lelz. Faye, LT and Isabel daw dun naman sa condo nila. Si Wowa gusto sa bahay. Ayaw na din magpuyat.
Nahihilig si Anika sa fashion nowadays. Excited whenever aalis siya. The night before, todo sukat na what she will wear for the next day. Lelz. Minsan sa bahay I get surprised when I arrive home. Kala mo gigimik ang suot eh. I let her be. This is one of the ways how she copes with the pandemic. Basta masaya siya.
This was what she wore during our dinner.

Top: ZARA KIDS; Shorts: OLD NAVY; Shoes: VANS
Then dun sa salubong mismo, we went to our barkada’s house. Thank you Josh and Elaine for hosting and welcoming us 3! It’s been a while since tumabay kami sa house ng barkada namin for NYE. Like years na. Huli pa yata was before I got married. Apart from the good company, ang daming food and drinks! Ang sasarap! My ambag was this charcuterie board from The Cheese Mesa in Instagram. Super sulit, promise. Sarap!
Grabe, we stayed until 3am! Anika didn’t want to go home. Aliw na aliw siya sa mga childhood friends namin. Nakakatawa. Also, Anika was able to spend time with her two Ates. These pretty girls are Jam and Gabe. They’re the daughters of our childhood friends. Mga flower girls namin sila sa wedding. Look at them now. Kagagandang mga bata.
That’s it, pancit. Our NYE may be different this year but the important thing is that Anika enjoyed.
