Hi guys. I’m alive! Not kicking so much but alive nonetheless.
I feel I have been through hell this past week.
Remember when I told you I want to lose weight na sana makakain ako ng panis para mag-tae?
My wish came true but this is 10 times worse!
Friday
At 2 am, I started having diarrhea. Mga naka-10 times ako from 2am to 7am. I was so weak, I couldn’t bring myself to stand up anymore. Alvin brought me to the ER to be hydrated.
We were sent home. I was given instructions to drink plenty of fluids.
I pooped 20 times that day.
Saturday
I was feeling so weak but I promised Janis’ daughter that I will be present at her confirmation that day. And so we went.
I lost a lot of water weight already for two days of diarrhea.
I pooped 16 times that day
Sunday
I was surprised becaues bigay na bigay pa din ang diarrhea ko. I stayed home the whole day but managed to have dinner with Alvin and Anika at Nobu because may mga balikbayan na dumating.
When we got home, I pooped for the 19th time. Alvin decided to bring me to the ER already.
Asian Hospital’s Emergency Room was full. There were already beds in the hallway of the ER. I was given a private room with a toilet dahil I was pooping every 5 seconds.
The doctor came and told us that I had to be admitted already. However, they did not have any rooms that time daw. I would have to wait until check out the next day. We told them that we’ll try na lang in the other hospitals.
When we were about to leave, the doctor told us that they have one last room in their new tower. Kung gusto ba daw namin. We said yes. That was at 11:30 pm. We were able to check in our room at 3am already.
Nakakaloka.
I poopled 20 times that day.
Monday
Despite the medicines that I was taking, I pooped 16x that day.
Tuesday
Alvin’s sister-in-law told us to tell my doctor that I had high T4 in my previous lab results. Inulit nila yung test.
My mother-in-law asked for my poop so she can bring it to RITM to have it cultured. Masyado na daw matagal LBM ko.
I forgot na how many times I pooped that day.
Wednesday
When my doctor arrived in my room, I told him I want to go home already. He checked me and said yes.
I love it!
I was getting bored and depressed already in the hospital.
And then my mother-in-law called. She told me that I tested positive for Cholera.
Cholera?!
OMG totoo pala na may ganun talaga!
I began to think. San ko ba nakuha yun? And then I remembered I had seafood dinner last Wednesday. I had shrimp and oysters.
Nadali ako.
I was so scared they might hold me in the hospital again. Thankfully hindi naman. I really wanted to go home already because I miss Anika so much. She has been sleeping while hugging our family picture. She misses us so much daw. She’s sick too. The doctor let me leave basta I have to bring to him the final result of the stool culture the next day. Baka i-confine na lang nila ako ulit pending my state and the final results. He gave me another set of antibiotics for Cholera. That is apart from the antibiotics that he already gave me.
Thursday
So that is today.
I just pooped 6x yesterday. If to compare, I am feeling better today. I think tama na the antibiotics that they gave. It makes me groggy sobra kasi ang tapang but it works.
Hopefully later, they won’t have me confined again. Grabe nakaka-depress in the hospital. Please pray for me ha?
At this point, I want to say thank you to, of course, Alvin for taking care of me. He has seen the worst na talaga. There was this medicine that they put in my IV for my stomach spasms and they make me throw up instantly. He was there holding my hair and the basin.
I want to say thank you to my mother-in-law for staying with Anika while we were away and for thinking about that culture thing.
Thank you to my brother in law and his wife for visiting.
Thank you to Wowa for coming over yesterday at home. I cried yesterday when I saw her. I was so hirap na hirap na kasi. Iba talaga when you’re mom’s there na.
