It’s been two weeks and I still can’t get over Mommy Fleur Day 2017.
If there was one thing that I would have improved on the event itself, I would have spent more time with my blog readers. Ang busy ko kasi with hosting the party and checking everything up. I would have loved to have interacted with them more. They took their time coming to the event. Some of them even came from far away land (read: Quezon City and Laguna). Hindi biro yun ha? I wanted to have a chikka portion with them. Like, isa isa sila. Next time siguro, like one hour, kwentuhan lang kami, ano?
Di bale. I’m planning a lunch out after Anika’s birthday. Pure girls chikahan lang talaga itey.
For the meantime, please let me thank everybody who made the Mommy Fleur Day 2017 one of my most memorable birthdays ever.
First, thank you to the caterer, Purple Hat Catering.
I received a lot of feedback the the food was good. The Spinach lasagna and mozzarella sticks were so delicious! Like what I said that day, they weren’t expensive and they were highly recommended by Wowa.
We had a mini dessert slash appetizer bar.
I’d like to thank my very pretty blog reader Aleeza for sending over boxes and boxes of these old school chocolates and candies even though she was out of the country! Ang lakas maka-throwback!
My cake, as all of you know, was from Tootie Cupcakes. Tin (my bilas) and I discovered them when we were checking out the event stylist for Gabo and baby Ellie’s birthday this March. Pretty di ba?

Thank you also to LetrasKo for giving away a personalized coaster set! LetrasKo is a newly launched business by one of my schoolmates in CSA. They sell personalized and curated products like this tapa board/slate. These slates and coasters are made with resilient natural stones with a very soshal finish =) I will blog about them separately so I can tell you more how beautiful these Filipino made products are.

Next, I would like to thank Wowa for being so supportive of this Mommy Fleur Day.
She made the cracker dips, fruit salad and she ordered the personalized notebooks that I gave away to my guests. She was also the one who recommended and coordinated with the caterer. She also bought biko (the kakanin) kasi super sarap nung inoorder niya na yun. She also gave away commemorative coins. Bangko Sentral talaga ang peg niya. She was the one who told me to do the bato bato pick game. She gave out a lot of crisp 20 peso bills for the game. Thank you so much Wowa!!!
A big, big thank you also to Anne and MJ for helping me out that day. I didn’t have to worry what was happening behind the scenes because they took care of everything from designing the dessert/appetizer table to the Family Feud game to the packing away of everything after the event. Maaasahan mo talaga ang mga ito to do a great job in and outside work.
Big thanks also to Eliza of @momama_ph for teaching us a thing and two about doing our eyebrows right. I really appreciate how she took time to go to Taguig for the event with all her stuff just to do the kilay workshop.
And because of Eliza, K-Palette sponsored a K-Palette gift pack na talaga namang pinag-pantasyahan panalunan ng lahat! Hehehehe!
Thank you also to @Pandahoarder (IG) for the IKEA shower curtain and picture frames that we raffled off. @Pandahoarder in an online seller of IKEA stuff. She sells them in very reasonable prices. Lastly, to all those who gave me gifts, touched na touched talaga ako. At first I was surprised bakit may gifts then later on I realized, birthday party ko na din pala it.
