I am soooooo late with my posts!!!
Even though it’s February already, allow me to post the fabulous notable items/food that I discovered in 2016.
First is the Griffin’s Cookie Bear cookies.
They have three variants: the chocolate bear cookies and the chocolate and strawberry hundreds and thousands cookies. These retail at Php 100 per pack. Masarap pambaon ito for kids. It’s also good to eat with coffee =)
Second is the cookie shot glass form Cookie Bar Manila.
Apparently they have been around for quite some time already and late lang ako maka-discover sa kanila. Their cookies are so chewy and taste so good. Sulit sa price. Promise. Click the link so that you will see how to order and where their stores are located.
Third, I have never loved Ritz so much until I tasted all the different variants.
They are so addicting and all the members of my family like it. Si Baby Ellie was happily munching on it while smiling adorably during the Mommy Fleur Day. May taste ang batang iyon =) Wowa called after the event to ask if there were packs of Ritz left. Bakit daw hindi ko siya tinirahan. Hehe. These are available in leading department stores and groceries nationwide.
Fourth, Anika is in the stage where she is too old already for baby shampoo but too young for adult shampoo. I mean, ang asim talaga ng hair niya after playing. Hindi na keri ng mga baby shampoo. Also her hair is so long, it needs additional care. This is why I loved that I discovered the Johnson’s Shiny Drops shampoo.
The Johnson’s Shiny Drops shampoo still has that no tears formula but now has a touch of silk proteins and a drop of argan oil. It helps reduces frizz but is still hypo-allergenic and very safe for the kids. Again, you can buy these in supermarkets and grocery stores.
Fifth, I discovered The Face Shop. I love buying things there. I have been buying body washes and face masks. Also, I tried the Mike Wazowski CC Long Lasting Cushion from their Disney collection.
Nice siya, girls. I do not like putting that much make up on my face. I am satisfied with my MAC or Celeteque face powder already. However, my skin was drying so bad that I needed extra moisturizing before putting make up so I tried this. So far, I like it. I love that the Mike Wazowski Cushion has skin care benefits like it brightens the skin and reduces wrinkles. Kailangan ko na yan mga ateng. It doesn’t feel sticky after application. Sometimes, I don’t put on my face powder anymore after putting it on. It can go by itself. It’s light and has good coverage. It sets quickly so perfect for busy women like me. The case is around Php 1,200, I think but the refill is only around Php 600+.
Sixth, I thought the Tiger water bottle would not get any better until they sent me this Ultra Light Stainless Steel bottle.
I drink water all the time. This bottle is perfect because it fits my bag just right and then it’s not heavy at all. Galing galing!
Seventh, when we went to Canada, isa lang talaga yung tumatak sa akin and hindi yung mga madaming Kate Spade bags that I brought home. Lol. I love Tim Hortons.
I cannot wait until they open branches here in Manila. Their coffee is good. It’s not expensive a.k.a. makatarungan. I love their French Vanilla coffee. Their Red Velvet cookie is so delicious. Makaka-diabetes yata ako sa tamis but I could not stop eating them. It’s sweetness is perfect with the bitterness of coffee.
Eighth, Pineda’s Kokomeee is proving to be very versatile in coming up with things and giveaways that they can personalize for us and our kids.
Remember Anika’s giveaway during her 6th birthday party with Gabo? Winner di ba? Check them out guys. Pineda told me that they are studying to come up with leather bags that you can personalize with your names. OMG. Gastos na naman but I am pretty sure dadagsain na naman yan.
Ninth, if you want to order cookies for your parties, I suggest Maggie’s The Little Whisk cookies.
Maggie became my friend through this blog. She was a working mom turned homemaker. Then she started baking and designing these pretty cookies kaya ayun, hindi na siya tumigil sa dami ng nagoorder from her. I was really surprised with the designs she made for the Mommy Fleur Lunchout last year. Tuwang tuwa ako dun sa silhouette cookie ko. Until now, hindi pa din ako maka-getover.
Tenth, I know you guys already know this but I never knew Physiogel’s powers until I used them when we were in Canada.
Canada’s air made my skin very dry. As in flaking and itchy. It was horrible. I had a hard time taking photos of myself during the first few days there because my skin was ugly. I put on the Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy every day and my skin really improved! Dito ka prove that this product is really effective in moisturizing. I still use this at night here in Manila. It helps to extra moisturize my skin.
Lastly, I am very, very grateful I discovered the Yumbox from Brightbrands.ph.
#AnikasBaonToday was never the same. The Yumbox has portions already so I know how much she needs for protein, dairy, carbs etc. It comes in cute colors and when you buy it from Brightbrands.ph, they can have it personalized for you for a fee (I have to confirm this though). Ang gandang baunan ito mommies and I highly suggest you get one for your kids. It’s matibay and it doesn’t leak. Food from the different compartments inside do not transfer or spill out to the other compartments.
So there. Better late than never is my peg for this blog entry. Though late, I don’t think I can let it pass not blogging and not letting you know how much I like these eleven items. They made a mark with a mom like me. I hope matuwa din kayo with these when you try it.
