Anika’s 7th Birthday Trip Part 2: Legoland Malaysia Theme Park

After checking in, leaving our luggage at the baggage counter and having lunch at KFC that doesn’t have spoons (Seriously fork lang ang meron sila), we went to Legoland.

Before I start the photo blog, here are the items I think you need to know before you enter the Legoland theme park.

One, it’s really very, very hot there. Consider yourselves lucky if makulimlim on the day of your park visit. If it’s not, hard core ang init. Put on sunblock before going. Wear presko clothes otherwise, iiyak ikaw at ang kili-kili mo sa init.

Two, bring extra shirt and towels. Best to bring pang kilay too. I swear, hindi kinaya ng K-Palette ko yung init and pawis at Legoland.

Three, try if you can bring water inside. They said it was prohibited daw as they sell bottled water inside the park but we were able to bring in two big bottles of water inside. Mahalia ang water in the park and lalaklak ka ng water for sure when you’re there sa init.

Lastly, since you will be leaving your luggage in the hotel, plan ahead the stuff that you will bring to the theme park para mabilis ang kuha sa mga maleta. I do not advice backpacks. It’s so hot for your back. I brought a sling bag with my wallet, park tickets, sunglasses, water, passports (wala lang, praning lang), towel and wipes.

Let’s start the photo blog, shall we?

There are so many structures made out of Lego. They are all glued together. We know because I tried breaking them off. Hindi kaya.

Anika went to a driving school that let them drive around the place in Lego cars.

There are also boat rides.

There were interactive rides where you get to defeat opponents by using laser guns or by just your hands. Apparently, I’m good at these games. I always get the high scores for each ride.

There was this ride that Alvin wanted to go to but we didn’t because you will get wet up to your undies.

They had naman body dryers pero hindi pa din.

There was this area where you can build buildings and test their structural strength with a platform that simulates earthquakes.

Not in photo are the 4D cinema attraction that we went to, the rotating tower that gives you a 360 degree view of the whole Legoland Park, the miniature city and the rollercoaster ride that we all rode.

Here’s the outfit I wore for dinner after we went to the theme park.

All in all, I think Legoland theme park is okay for kids 5 to 12 years old. If your kids loves Lego, sulit kayo dito. We were lucky because there weren’t a lot of people that day. We didn’t fall in line for a long time for each ride. It’s not cool to fall in line for a long time in that heat. Maloloka kayo.

That’s it! Feel free to ask questions if you have =)
