I think I’m already over using this top.

I don’t really know why but I love this black and white shirt. Siguro kasi mommy ako. Hindi niyo ba halata that a lot of mommies like wearing similar tops like that. Hindi siya ganun ka-flattering sa figure but I was wearing my skater skirt and Japanese school girl ang peg ko so wapakels if I look fat #NoSenseAtAll
Anyway, Anika started school already so of course, we were invited by the school to attend the Parent Orientation a.k.a. Class Parent Officers election.
I didn’t think of that actually at the start. My boss called us all for an Operations Meeting that day. I asked Alvin if he can attend the orientation on my behalf.
ALVIN: Sure. No problem.
Natigilan ako. I looked at him and it hit me.
ME: Punyeta Babe, do not make me the Class President!
Ngumiti lang ang asawa ko.
I forgot about it in the days that followed. It only came back (with a bang) when I saw Alvin post this in his Instagram while I was in the middle of our meeting.
Kinabahan ako bigla!
And then around 10am, he called me. I rejected his call because I was still at the meeting. I texted him instead.
I was literally freaking out inside while maintaining my poker face in the meeting outside while pinapagalitan ako ng boss ko. Tango na nga lang ako ng tango.
I cannot be president, you know why? Ang daming responsibilities! Not that I don’t like responsibilities, pag pinasok ko kasi ang something, gusto ko magaling ako dun. If kari-reen ko pa yang pagiging class president in Anika’s class, hindi na ako matutulog sa gabi sa dami ng ginagawa ko.
Eh we need to sleep otherwise, we’ll die right?
But I don’t want to die yet. So no to Class President.
Alvin took pity na siguro at me. He told me to check his Facebook. I saw this.
Whew. PRO. Okay na.
Alvin told me when I got home that the VP position was filled up na daw before the paper reached him. Dun niya pala ako dapat isusulat. He didn’t make me president kasi I think he knows na dedz talaga siya sa akin.
At least he knows.
Are you guys done with the book wrapping?
I tried the self-adhesive book cover and I didn’t like it.
It’s difficult to use for Anika’s school books.
In order for you to make it lapat na lapat talaga without bubbles, there should be two of you doing it. Hindi efficient.
My friend told me that maganda the self-adhesive wrapper for small books lang pala. For big books, better yung pre-cut plastic wrappers. Pineda told me that too. One of my co-parents before showed us the pre-cut wrapper that she used. Galing. No need for scotch tapes. I shall try that next time!
Anika has a new tutor coming in today. I hope she’s okay. I’ll make them study in the living room so that I can monitor whenever I get home early.
