Mommies, are your kids’ school bags super heavy too?
Di ba I told you before that Anika’s school bag is almost as heavy as she is? It’s still like that this year. She brings all her books, notebooks, and folders everyday. Sa totoo lang, I don’t see the point of the students bringing all of their school things to and from school. I don’t know with you guys but Anika doesn’t open all those books and notebooks at home every single day. So what’s the point of lugging all of them all the time?
You know, recently, there was one student in Anika’s grade level who pulled his shoulder kasi ang bigat ng bag niya. From the drop off point of the car or the bus, they have to pull their bags all the way to their classrooms at the second floor via a ramp. Malayo-layo din yung lalakarin nila ha. Whenever I watch them go to their classrooms, naaawa ako. Their bags are bigger than them! At one point, may masasaktan talaga.
I don’t know why the school won’t make them leave their things in the classroom. We shouldn’t let kids carry heavy bags because it’s bad for their health. This should be a very serious issue that the world should address. Is it the same in your kids’ school, mga mommies? Bakit walang naglalabas na law against this? Sana yung law against unli-rice, dito na lang pinush yung efforts.
