I wanted to sleep because I’m so puyat. However, I drank coffee for merienda kaya eto my body wants to sleep pero ang diwa ko is buhay na buhay.
I want to impake more for our lipat bahay however, if I continue doing that, we will be eating na sa dahon ng saging for noche buena.
Sino ba naman kasi ang nagsabi maglipat bahay during the holidays?!
Oh right. Yung feng shui nga pala. Lelz.
Anyway, lemme tell you about this construction kiddie party that we attended a few months ago. The celebrant was this cute na cute boy who has a baker for a dad. His mom is one of my favorite among Alvin’s cousins. Ang masiyahin kasi. I was surprised to learn that she’s starting to design cakes now. Tingan niyo her son’s birthday cake.
Ang cute di ba? I wish I had the talent.
I like attending parties thrown by them. Magaling si Karlo sa mga cakes and partries.
My favorite is his cream puff. Ginagawa ko itong parang Chippy! Once you pop, you can’t stop!
He also makes these delicious butter pecan brownies that are so chewy and good that you will temporarily forget your name on the first bite. Promise. ‘Nyeta, nagkre-crave tuloy ako.
I’m not sure what you call these, Silvanas ba? They’re buttery and soft. Grrrrr!

I’m glad Anika’s close to her cousins. Ako kasi super bilang lang sa isang hand yung ka-close ko na pinsan. Cousins are like automatic barkada eh. Sure ka pa na sino sila di ba?
After the party, we hung out at this open field in front of the restaurant in Pasay. I sat back and watched them play. Ang saya din ng simple na buhay ano? Away from the televisions, phones, iPads and other gadgets.
We played like that growing up and personally, I like it that way much better. I know how to introduce myself sa mga bata so that I can play with them. Pinagpapawisan ako. Nadudumihan. May fresh air.
Kaso yung dating agawan base ngayon agawan cellphone na eh. That is why I try to bring Anika out to play as much as possible.
