I realized since I love reading, why don’t I do book reviews na din in the same time.
Like this book I got at the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale last week for only Php 190
Title: Spring Fever A Novel
Author: Mary Kay Andrews
I like this book. It’s perfect for a light, romantic reading. Hindi boring. Nakakakilig. Hindi dudugo ang utak ko sa analysis ng kwento.
The story started with the female main character Annajane Hudgens attending her very handsome ex-husband’s wedding to a “cruellaville”. May feelings pa siya sa ex. Pak! Na-udlot ang wedding. Double pak! Intriguing, ano? Hehe.
I find the story similar to that of Sweet Home Alabama pero ito madaming twist. I finished reading it in a day. Ganun siya ka-engaging. I didn’t want to put it down.
I like it because the words used in writing the book were not complicated. I hate complicated words. Gusto ko yung parang nagku-kwento lang talaga. I like it also na palaban yung main character. Ayoko ng pa-api effect. I love how I get satisfied as I read along. Walang pa-keme keme or pakipot kipot. Fast paced siya. Hindi boring.
I love how nakaka-kilig the story is. I am all for second chances eh. Yung tipong “Two old friends, meet again, wearing older faces, and talk about the places they’ve been. Two old sweethearts fell apart, somewhere long ago, how they are to know that someday they’ll meet again and have a need for more than reminiscing. Maybe this time, it will be loving they find…”
Aminin niyo kumanta din kayo.
And, gosh, I love the twists. May family drama a.k.a chismax.
I am recommending this book! Pang relax lang. Gorabelles.
I am going to look for Mary Kay Andrews’ other books. Magaling siya magsulat eh.
