Anika’s sick =c After her tutor yesterday, nilagnat. My anxiety is triggered whenever she’s sick. I was up at 4am and couldn’t go back to sleep. I had to meditate ng bongga and I spent a lot of time at the Adoration Chapel before going to the office. I know it’s a given though. Yung mga normal na mommies nga na-aajit if their kids are sick paano pa kaya yung mga mommies like me who have anxiety disorder. Times 10 siya, nakakaloka. Although I am thankful because at least I know how to handle. Mahirap but I am able to fight the feeling. Katakot takot na pep talk and pagcoconvince ang ginagawa ko sa sarili ko mentally. It doesn’t help that she has 3 Mastery Tests today and tomorrow. Mastery Tests are the equivalent of the Periodical Tests we have every quarter. She’ll be able to get naman make-up exams so I should not worry about it.
Finally, we finished season 2 of Supergirl. The Supergirl TV series in Netflix is so addicting. There’s season 3 na pero wala pa sa Netflix. I am a bit disappointed pero relieved in at the same time. Pwede na bumalik sa normal buhay ko hahaha! I swear, I couldn’t blog or do other things because of that series. Kaya ayaw ko nauumpisahan yung mga ganyan eh. I don’t stop until I finish it.
Last Tuesday was a holiday. I spent the morning with Janis at the mall. Super bihira kasi kami lumabas together. The last time we went out yata na kami lang was in January pa nung nagpasama ako sa SM BF because I wanted to walk around kasi may anxiety attack ako. Janis is a stay at home mom kaya parang day-off and me time niya na ito. Natatawa nga ako kasi when we arrived at SM Aura, hindi pa kami nakakapagpark, sabi niya sa akin, “Nana, ulitin natin ito ha?”. I laughed and told her, “Teh, hindi pa nga naguumpisa lakad natin yan na agad sinasabi mo!”. Hahaha!
We were at SM Aura by 10:30am. I like going to the malls na kakabukas lang. Ayoko kasi ng madaming tao. First time daw ni Janis to be in a mall this early. We’re opposites kasi. I’m a morning person and I get things done while maaga pa. She’s not like that. Kaya effort sa kanya if may events or lakad na maaaga. Pero this time, kahit maaga, up and ready siya. Hahahaha!

We went to the grocery saglit to buy coffee creamer and I had my waxing session at Maxwax after. And then I had my bag checked at Doctor Leather kasi I wanted to have it restored. They gave a quotation of Php 6,500. Hindot na yan ang mahal. Sige sabi ko next time. Gagamitin ko muna ng bongga para sulit yung restoration. Hahaha! And then we ate at JinJoo, a Korean restaurant. First time din ni Janis magKorean restaurant and I’m happy she liked it.
We went around for a bit. I bought a Maybelline lipstick. I was telling her na tuwang tuwa ako sa Maybelline lipsticks that bought before kasi super mura. It turned out na parang ako na lang ang hindi may alam na maganda yung Maybelline lipsticks tapos mura pa. Janis has them in all colors ata. Php 199 na lang eh!
After that we went to Bonifacio High Street to have desserts. I wanted to try Freeze Burn pero permanently closed na pala! Bummer. Never tuloy ako naka-try ng dessert nila. Ang gaganda pa naman tingnan sa IG.
We went to Seattle’s Best instead and had coffee. After nun, umuwi na kami. We were home by 3pm but sinamahan niya pa ako magcarwash so mga 5pm kami naka-uwi.
It was a day well spent. Sa uulitin, mare!
