Day 7 and I’m still here at home. Alvin doesn’t allow me to go out of the house. Nandito lang ako in our living room watching Lucifer in Netflix. Matatapos ko na nga siya eh. I made puslit lang yesterday and went with the driver to pick up Lolo Papa at the airport. Okay din pala in Terminal 3. You can park and then go around the airport while waiting. There’s a small mall and a row full of restaurants at the 4th floor.
However, while I was going around, I felt dizzy and my puson hurt. I told myself, ito nga siguro yung reason bakit ako pinagpapahinga. Hindi pa pala okay. We went home na agad after that.
I’m eating normally too. Kailangan daw kasi magpalakas so I’m eating rice. Good luck sa weight ko nito after. Di bale, it’s easy to lose with the right diet plus exercise. I can exercise after this right?
Anyway, since wala akong magawa (my IG followers were requesting for a closet raid or magbenta daw ako ng clothes ko which I hope I can do today or tomorrow while Anika’s at school and Alvin’s at work), I’ll catch up na lang on my blog entries.
Let’s start with New Year’s Eve. Haha!
New Year’s one of my favorite occasion after my birthday. For this year, sabi ko hindi na masyadong magarbo yung handa. Nasasayang kasi. I wanted to prepare food that people will actually eat. Hindi pang display lang.
May natira pang crackers that Wowa bought for the noche buena. Crackerthins yung tatak. Mahal daw sabi ni Wowa. She got it from Rustan’s. Ang sarap naman. I slathered low fat cream cheese on it and placed a strip of smoked salmon. Heaven sa sarap. Mas madami pa yung nakain ko kaysa na-prepare ko.
I asked Lyn to make Carbonara. Ganyan na ganyan din ang hitsura kung ako ang gagawa. Look at all those crispy bacon!
Every New Year’s Eve dinner, I make sure may chocolate gold coins on the table. Lyn also made butter garlic potatoes.
Ang dish of the night of course was my Baked Salmon. I blogged about the recipe here.
As per the Old Wives’ Tale, dapat may something sticky on the table para together forever kayo. Apart from this sapin sapin, I also took out the suman I bought from Rosalie’s. I don’t eat suman but when I tried Rosalie’s, grabe. Feeling ko naglilihi ako.

Faye and LT weren’t able to go with us because they stayed home. Hindi pa cool ang fireworks for Isabel so they slept early. Lolo Papa spent the New Year in the province. Next year sana complete na kami. That is the perks when you’re living in your old family house. Dito lagi ang get together =)
Ang hindi lang cool with the New Year’s Eve is that it was raining the whole day. The rain stopped at around 1145pm and then resumed after midnight. Konti lang ang paputok.
