My Le Petit Cafe Fleur Experience – Finally!

I don’t know na how many times I received links and photos from friends, IG followers and blog readers about Cafe Fleur in Makati. Sabi ko I will visit soon and that was last year pa. Lelz.

A few weeks ago, thankfully, I was able to find time to check out this quaint restaurant nestled somewhere in Poblacion, Makati.

I arrived around 11am. I was kinda surprised because I found the restaurant inside talaga a residential area. Parang bahay, bahay, bahay, Cafe Fleur, bahay, bahay and more bahays forever. Ang cute niya. The guard from the restaurant gave me a piece of paper. Sabi ko, ano po ito? He said that’s the parking area daw. I looked at it and told the guard, “Kuya, napakalayo naman po nitong parking area niyo.”. Ang layo talaga, mga bakla! Pwede lakarin pero medyo malayo and  it was tanghaling tapat. Super init. Jajabarin ka to the max and haggard ka na malamang when you get to the restaurant.

The guard apologized. I asked, paano po makakapunta sa resto from the parking lot tapos balik sa car after kumain? Pwede daw maglakad nga or Grab or tricycle. Ganun ka layo. But he also said that the management is working out something pang hatid sundo.

You cannot park sa street because there are no parking spaces. Residential area siya plus narrow lang yung street plus yung mga cars of the residents are already parked in front of their houses.

In short, bring a driver when you go there or take a Grab.

Coincidentally when I arrived, the guard said that available daw yung parking space in front of the house which was in front of the restaurant. Php 100 ang bayad. You pay directly to the owner of the house.

Anyway, this is what the restaurant looks like sa harap.

I like the interiors of the restaurant. It’s so relaxing. This is their al fresco area.

It’s not that hot naman outside because they had a lot of electric fans. I think perfect dito for dinner. Presko and relaxing. They said nga na they’re fully booked at dinner time almost always. Gets ko. Sarap tumabay dun.

They also have indoor airconditioned dining area.

Maliit lang. I think less than 6 tables lang inside, if I’m not mistaken.

I like their toilet, too. It’s so pretty and super bagay nung interior to the interior of the whole restaurant.

The name pala of the restaurant is Le Petit Cafe Fleur. Lelz.

The servers were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a menu which was a couple of white bond papers binded by a clipboard. Very basic, simple na simple and walang ka-arte arte. There were no photos kaya I had a hard time picking what to eat. They said sinasadya daw yun ni Chef Sau (owner). I forgot though the explanation. Parang surprise or something. May description naman each dish together with the price.

I ordered the Garlic Prawns, Lemony Squid Ink Aglio Olio priced at Php 475.

It was soooooooo good! Promise! The noodles does not stain your teeth. Akala ko squid ink talaga tapos when you smile, black na your mouth. It wasn’t like that. The pasta noodles tasted like squid ink. Sarap ng timpla ng prawns. I really loved this pasta. I will order this again when I come back.

And then I ordered their RED pasta. They got me sa burrata.

I forgot lang the price but I assure you it was so sulit. Ang sarap, men. Maybe it’s just me but I like that pizza combo with the pasta I ordered.

For dessert, I tried their mini Vuco Fye.

They served it hot. It was good. I’ve always thought that buko pies are served cold *face palm*. Despite being tiny, this mini vuco fye is filling. Best for merienda with your favorite coffee or tea.

When I arrived, hindi pa masyadong puno yung resto. However, as I finished the meal, I noticed sobrang dami na ng tao na dumadating for lunch. Masarap nga talaga ang food dito. Kahit wala silang parking, dinadayo.

Over all, based on my experience and the food, I recommend you guys try Le Petit Cafe Fleur. I checked their instagram account and the other dishes look so good. Knowing Chef Sau when we ate at Cafe Fleur in Pampanga a few years back, he makes good food. I am a sucker for pretty dishes and Chef Sau exceeded my expectations at Le Petit Cafe Fleur because not only the dishes look pretty, ang sarap din niya mga mamsh. Galing ni Chef Sau. Pogi pa. Charot.
