A day well spent last year. Haha.
This blog post has been sitting on my drafts for over a year already. I still want to post this blog entry kasi it was the first time I ate at Wild Flour and the first time I tried the massage at Breeze Oriental Spa and Massage.
Outfit of the day muna.
Top: Uniqlo
Shorts: Forever 21
Sandals: Renegade Folk
Bag: Tory Burch
I miss umawra ng ganyan. This photo was taken before I took the anti depressants. I shouldn’t have taken it. Hindi ko alam if hindi ko naman talaga siya kailangan or I cannot tolerate any AD. Pero hindi talaga siya nakabuti to me. I became like a zombie. Ang sama sa katawan physically, emotionally and mentally. Tiniis ko yun for 7 months and it was hell talaga. When I stopped drinking it, ang laking ginhawa talaga. Anywayyyyyy, wala na ako magagawa dun. I am just glad I am recovering from it. One time I will kwento in detail that journey and yung learnings ko.
I met up with Bing, one of my closest friends from High School. I think this was after Anika and I arrived from our US trip. We had brunch at Wild Flour Restaurant in Rockwell.
Here are the dishes we ordered.
Beef Tapa (Php 625)
I remember this dish to be good. Masarap yung tapa. Hindi din siya matigas.
I think Bing ordered the Croque Madame (Php 550)
Mixed Berry Tres Leches (Php 280)
Omg guys. Write down your names before eating this cake kasi baka makalimutan niyo names niyo sa sarap. I am not kidding. Hindi lang ako pwede ng gluten and sugar ngayon pero once okay na ako, I will go to Wild Flour to have this cake. Naalala ko bigla kung gaano ito ka-sarap.
Wild Flour is okay. Their food is masarap pero ayun nga, ang mahal ng prices nila. Pwede na pagonce in a while or pagmay occasions.
That afternoon, I met up naman with Len. We tried the massage at Breeze Oriental Spa and Massage. I never knew about this spa. It was Len who found it online. It’s located in Bonifacio Global City.
The lobby was grand. Very shala.
They serve Iced Tea and Ginger tea at the lobby too.
At the lobby, you can find large comfortable looking chairs for their foot spa.
At the side, you will find the area for the dry back massages.
This is how their massage rooms look like.
I tried their Wellness Oil Massage (Php 2,300)
For someone who have massages often since I was 13 years old, I can say that it was one of the best massages I’ve tried. Sulit yung price niya. Kung madami lang akong moolah, I would have this every week.
After the massage, nagpunta ang mga Tita sa Tomatito in BGC. We had dinner there and some drinks. Gosh I miss the times when I can have a drink or two. It has been two years since I had an alcoholic drink. Ang daming nagyaya sa akin to drink na pero parang baka hindi na ako magliquor forever. I’m fine with water. Hehe.
Ang sarap sa Tomatito, guys. Here are what we ordered.
Salmon TNT (Php 740)
The Salmon TNT is my favorite dish at Tomatito. It consists of Smoked Salmon, with honey and truffle.
Bombas de Jamon (Php 405) – ham bombs, Manchego cream cheese, paprika
Red Sangria (Php 495)
Their sangria is really good. Careful lang kasi sobrang sarap, inom lang ng inom. Before you know it, BAM! Lasheng na hehehe.
Carpaccio de Solomillo (Php 995)
This is another favorite of mine! It has beef carpaccio, Feta cheese, truffle sour cream and jalapeno. Kung ako lang, iuulam ko yan sa rice.
Solomillitos al Ajillo (Php 635)
Paella Negra (Php 1,295)
Winner din also their Paella Negra. It’s good for sharing probably for 4 pax.
It was a good day. Bondat and relaxed na relaxed. Hopefully, maulit ito. It’s been a year na din =) Who wants to go with me?
