Hello helloooooo!!!
Sorry for the lack of update. Napaka-dami kong ginagawa! Emergerd talaga. It’s a combination of being a Nanay, a manager, a corporate slave and a part-time travel agency.
Before I continue my kwentos, here’s this pretty dress that I wore a couple of days back.

Dress: COLE VINTAGE; Shoes: CHARLES AND KEITH
Back to the madaming ginagawa, I really appreciate all your nice comments and emails in support sa pagkabusy ko. Thank you. While it’s true na I really have A LOT on my plate, I want to tell you guys that it’s not easy. Minsan nga iniisip ko ang loka loka ko din to be like this.
It just so happen na ganito talaga eh. Yung waking up early to prepare Anika’s baon, gusto ko naman yun. That’s the time na feel na feel ko na Nanay ako. I want this day to come when sasabihin ni Anika na despite being a working mom, ang patient ko gumawa ng baon niya. In work, well, that’s work. That’s how I work and I really am very busy. I am grateful and proud to be part of the company I am working for now. I believe in their product and I look up to our bosses. I am happy to be where I am, career-wise. That is why I am working hard. Apart from gusto ko makatulong kay Alvin sa gastos, gusto ko yung trabaho ko. Nay, I just don’t like my job. I love my job. That is why I’m working hard. Kahit pila pila ang meetings, limpak limpak ang concerns to be addressed, smile pa din. I am grateful that I have a job that I love. And then, of course, nandiyan na din yung while working, iniisip mo din yung mga kailangan ni Anika sa school. Naku mga bakla, when Anika started Grade 1, feeling ko I went back to school too. Instead of humilata na lang ako and magblog when I get home, I check her homework and we study for her quizzes. Ayaw ko naman pabayaan. I learned from my boss, who has kids who are excelling academically, they instilled daw good study habits sa mga kids nila at an early age. After a while, yung mga bata nagkukusa na mag-aral. I want Anika to be like that too. Kaya kahit pagoda cold wave lotion na ang peg ko at the end of the day, push sa pagtuturo sa bagets.
So there.
But I do not want to complain. When I said that I was tired, that was a fact. This is one of those moments na gusto ko magbakasyon to rest and recharge.
Speaking of vacation, eto na ang kwento bakit ako nag-mala-travel agency.
We are planning to go on a vacation!!!!!
Going to another country and applying for a visa is no easy task. There are so many documents to collate and nakaka-nose bleed ang pagfill-out ng application forms with all these instructions that we have to strictly follow.
Alvin, Anika, Ka-Lydia and I are planning to visit Canada very soon.
In fairness, the steps on how to apply for a visa wasn’t that hard. I just had to fill out the application forms in their application package, collate all necessary documents, pay and submit all the documents to their accredited Visa Application Center (VAC).
We submitted our requirements today for our visitor’s visa. Madami akong learnings and I want to share them with you para easy breezy ang application niyo if ever you want to visit Canada as a tourist.
- Everything that you need to know is in here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-how.asp
- You have to pay online or at any Union Bank BEFORE you submit your application form and documents. Hindi ko ito nabasa so we had to hire a computer there at the VAC to pay online. You can find the link here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp
- The application forms should be validated before you print them. However, nag-va-validate siya even without the postal code of your address. Do not forget the postal code. I overlooked this kasi hindi naman nag-red yung box when I validated the form. Kailangan pala the postal code so I had to re-type all four applications kanina. Bawal ang i-handwritten yung postal code into the form. Ulitan levelz. Nice naman kasi they have two available computers and printer at the VAC. Time consuming nga lang. So be sure all information in your application forms are correct.
- It said online that minors need not submit a Family Information Sheet. Kailangan mga muthers so fill out a form for them too.
- Nice if you can be at the VAC by 7am. Bring a car because okay ang parking at the VAC in Makati. Mabilis lang their process and the people there are very helpful.
So there.
I am crossing my fingers, legs and eyes for good results. We all haven’t been to Canada yet and we would love to be able to visit Tito Mario, Alvin’s maternal uncle.
Wish us luck guys!
More kwento in a while =)
