I just read about Chuvaness’ visit to Landers Superstore in her blog and it reminded me that I haven’t told you about my trip there last week.
Landers Superstore is located in Balintawak. Probinsya levelz itey so it was really a feat that I was able to check it out. Landers will be opening in Paco so maybe that will be the store that I will frequent more.
Anyway, I wasn’t able to take a photo of the facade. But I can assure you that they have a lot of parking spaces. Same inside, it’s very spacious. Pwede kang tumambling ng tumambling sa loob.
I don’t know if we’re the same but do you ever feel that funny feeling when you step inside the mall and everything’s on sale? Yung feeling na parang you just want to be everywhere at that very moment. May palpitations and anxiety.
Atat yata yung term na mas simple to describe that feeling.
I felt that when I went inside Landers Superstore.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have that much time to go around nung pumunta ako so let’s take this as my initial inspection muna of this new grocery store. I just went through every aisle. Hindi ko masyado nasuyo each and every item but here are the stuff that caught my eye.
They have different kinds of salad dressing like this chunky Blue Cheese Dressing.
This guacamole dip is sooo good with chips.
I wanted to buy this Pop Tarts for Anika kaso masyadong sweet ito for her.
I also wanted to get this Animal Frosted Cookies but didn’t yet because I wanted to show it first to Anika if type niya. Ang laki ng packaging eh. Sayang naman if I buy it then hindi niya type.
A lot of my friends are talking about this Mercer’s Wine Ice Cream. I’m really curious how this tastes like. This is called an adult dessert because it’s an ice cream infused with wine. It has 5% alcohol per volume so I’m sure may kick pa din kahit papaano. It’s going to be fun eating it then getting tipsy after. Hahaha! I’m definitely going buy one tub next time.
Apart from the Mercer’s Wine Ice Cream, kung makaka-uwi lang sana ako ng maaga that day, there were a lot of frozen goods that I wanted to take home. Like the Dole frozen sliced strawberries for Anika…
… frozen mixed berries that will be perfect for smoothies at home…
… the Cadbury Chocolate ice cream..
… and this cheese fondue!
Yummmmmmm!
I didn’t go anymore to the fresh produce and meat section. Hindi naman kasi ako makakabili because I wasn’t going home yet after. Baka masira lang sa car. Pero naku, if you can just see how OC they packed everything in that section, mapapabili ka talaga because they all looked so fresh talaga. And the meat, grabe, name your cut, it’s there na ata.
So instead of going there, I went na lang dun sa personal aids section.
I was super aliw with this hurt free First Aid Antiseptic from Band-Aid. This was the first time I saw a product like this so I bought it for my little one’s first aid kit.
This is also something I don’t see in normal stores.
I wanted to get this kaso it’s mahalia for me and I have a lot of lotions pa at home.
There were also so many kinds of condoms…
… and other sex related eklaver.
Sorry, I just had to post those last two stuff. Nakakatuwa eh. When I come back, I will take Alvin in that aisle and discuss those stuff with him. Madami diyan hindi ko alam para saan! Hahahaha!
Anyway, here are the things I bought from that quickie trip:
Yung Oreo crust tinapon ng kasambahay ko for reasons only God knows. I almost cried because I discovered she threw it in the trash after I bought all the ingredients for the cheese cake that I wanted to make with Anika.
The Bark Thins Snacking Chocolate is the bomb. Masisiraan ka ng ulo sa sobrang sarap. I love how the sweetness and bitterness of the dark chocolate combine with the saltiness of the pretzel. Anika loved the Peppa Pig cookies. I’m going to give the Dark Chocolate Almonds to Wowa if her sugar level is okay. Everything else there is two thumbs up for me =)
I am definitely going back and stay longer para macheck out ko more ang mga paninda nila there.
