I have very dry skin especially on my face. Hindi siya maganda tingnan. Worse, the make up that I put on does not adhere to my face properly because dry nga siya. This results in cracking foundation and flaking pressed powder on my face. It’s so embarrassing! I was told by my dermatologist that my dry skin may be because of lack of sleep, bad diet and stress. When I heard about stress, I believed her right away. Having a demanding day job plus the responsibilities that I have as a wife and mom can really take its toll on my skin.

I really want to go regularly to the derm clinics out there to have my facials and skin treatments. But I seriously do not have the time! I go home late from work during weekdays and I attend to a lot of errands during weekends with my daughter. I remembered my friend telling me, “Yan nga yung problema eh. Since because of my busy schedule, I cannot go to facial salons regularly, I was on the watch out for products that I can put on my face so I can always feel fresh and beautiful on the go. Trial and error ako diyan.

It also made my skin lighten a little bit in a sense that hindi naman ako pumuti like “mestiza white” because I’m morena (and I love my skin color) but my skin became fairer in a pumushyaw way. It’s due to the nourishing skin vitamins and the ingredient, Arbutin, that intensifies whitening, revealing a lighter tone to the skin.
Two, I tried the Belo Essentials Skin Hydrating Whitening Toner every night for seven days. I am happy to report that it didn’t sting and it didn’t make my skin dry. It’s great that it’s alcohol free and it gently removed the remaining make up on my face that my facial wash wasn’t able to wash off.

Lastly, I tried the Belo Essentials Night Therapy Whitening Vitamin Cream. It has skin moisturizers and anti-oxidants. It was also gentle on my skin as I didn’t have any rashes after using it. Every morning after I wake up in the seven days that I tried it, I noticed that I didn’t wake up with dry skin unlike before. It was also noticeable that my foundation and face powder adhere better on my face. Hindi na kasi dry.
