I know I am finally overcoming my anxiety disorder because I am starting to eat a lot now.
When I say a lot, lamon levels talaga.
I noticed it last Friday when Pineda invited us over for dinner. The ulam was crabs cooked in the most delicious way possible. I had 3 servings of rice and I don’t even eat rice di ba? Hahahaha! I actually didn’t want to stop eating. Inawat ko lang sarili ko because (1) nakakahiya ubusin yung food nila Pineda and (2) I was scared of empacho. After dinner, we called BASK Nail Salon for a home service massage for me (with wine afterwards), mani-pedi plus foot spa for Pineda and mani pedi for Maeko and Anika. Ang relaxing! It was a well spent Friday night. Here’s a short video of it.
Si Alvin and JR, deadma. Lol. While we were being pampered, usap ng usap yung dalawa about businesses that they can start and about motorcycles. As if naman papayagan namin sila bumili ng big bike *rolls eyes*.
The next day, we woke up early because we needed to bring Anika to Makati Med to have her ECG. She needs to have that test done because Anika has Arrhythmia. Periodic check up lang to see if everything is okay. Sa Makati Med kami because that’s the hospital where Tin is having her cardio specialty eklaver. I commend the MMC Heart Center ha? It’s very efficient. I’m not sure if it’s because we were there by 8am na and konti pa lang ang tao but we didn’t have to wait that long. From the queuing to the ECG proper, maaliwalas ang process. Galing. The ECG costs Php 900. It’s covered by the health card supposedly kaso tinamad ako pumila dun sa HMO center nila kaya nagbayad na lang ako. Don’t worry, kinutusan ko na sarili ko. Sayang yung 900 sana.
Anyway, after the ECG, Alvin and Anika dropped me office at the office because I left my car there. May Operations Meeting kasi kami sa Pasig and susunod sana ako. After nun, I was supposed to go to my officemate’s wake in Marcos Highway. Yeah, she passed the day after we saw her. Everybody’s sad here sa office because she was really young.
Hindi na ako naka-alis because ang wagas ng ulan! OA. I got scared I might get stranded so I went home instead. Good choice naman because Alvin showed me how flooded it was in Marikina! Did you guys see the SM Marikina photos? Lubog talaga yung mga SUV eh. Wild.
So I went home and napped and watched Supergirl in Netflix.
Lekat na Supergirl yan. It’s so addicting! It’s one of my favorite Netflix TV shows! Next time nga, isa isahin ko yung mga favorite ko in Netflix here in my blog.
The next day, we woke up early again because we attended the Augustinian Family Mass in CSA.
The lighting at the CSA gym made us look like the Addams Family. Hahahaha!
We were supposed to go to SM Aura to do the groceries, have lunch and make pasyal kaso I asked to go home na after doing the groceries despite not eating anything yet for the day. Wala kasi sa mood si Alvin so nag-inarte ako. Nagtampo ako because ang toxic and busy ng weekdays ko. Alvin and I hardly every spend time during workdays because busy nga and pagdating sa bahay halos kain tulog na lang ang nagagawa. Weekends are the the only two days I look forward too kasi I’ll get to spend time with him and Anika. Tapos wala pa siya sa mood?! I felt really bad.
Medyo nakunsensya ata lolo niyo when we got home because niyakap ako while I was watching TV. Hindi ko naman kasi maintindihan. I know work can be hard and nadadala talaga sometimes sa bahay yung problema. Pero konting effort pa sana. Hindi kailangan ma-affect yung time with the family because of it. Remember, walang taong tumanda and nagsabi on their deathbed na sana he spent more time at work rather than with his family.
So, spend time sa bahay ang peg naming tatlo yesterday.
At lunch, my mother-in-law sent her famous Dinuguan over so triple rice na naman ako. My lousy excuses are: it’s a weekend, I haven’t eaten since I woke up and I am allowed to indulge. Lelz.
We napped afterwards then watched Supergirl again until past 12am.
Therefore, puyat ako now. Zzzzzzz…
I was able to squeeze in an unboxing video of the crate full of Biogenic alcohol that I received last week.
Ang daming alcohol! Hahahaha!
But I’m very thankful for Biogenic for sending all those products because ang daming germs during rainy season due to colds. Hatching dito, ubo dun! Hala, hawa hawa na talaga ang lahat. It’s best if you always have an alcohol with you. Also, sometimes we can’t help our feet to get wet sa labas so need i-wash and paliguan talaga ng alcohol. Praning na praning ako sa Leptospirosis! In our case, pwede tadtarin ng alcohol ang different parts of our house. Happy na happy si Alvin. He always like to use alcohol. Ang selan niyan sa germs.
